We accept them all! We believe to run a business looking after other peoples family members, must be built not only with a great sense of responsibility, but on a foundation of unconditional love also.

Lauren & Claire have been working in dog rescue for a number of years having set up their own registered charity AurasDogs Uk in 2017.
Lauren lives on site, with Claire being a lifelong member of the local community
Elmview remains a family affair, with our immediate and extended families working together on site
All pricing includes food and exercise 3 times per day.

All dogs are exercised 3 times a day on site. Dogs can be socialised with other dogs of similar size/age or temperament on owner request only. Dogs who are not dog social will be exercised separately

Yes, all kennels have heating with is used in the winter months
No. All cat pens are indoor for their safety.
Yes
Every effort will be made to contact you, and/or their emergency contact. However if no contact can be made, we will act on the best interests of your pet and seek veterinary advice, ideally from your vet. Please note any vet bills are chargeable to the owner.
This is discretionary due to the needs of our own staff. Staff are on site 24/7, however we do ask you respect our privacy outside of our opening times.
We are licenced for 65 dogs and 25 cats.
Yes. However they will not be able to socialise with other animals
Yes, although we can provide everything your pet will need, you may bring your own items if you deem the beneficial for your pets stay. However we ask you do not bring bowls. All items are left at your own risk.
We do have our own grooming parlour on site. However grooming options vary depending on if a groomer is currently working. Baths generally can always be accommodated at a cost of £10
Not at this time.
We do take puppies as long as they have completed their final vaccination course at least 5 days prior to their stay
Yes we can administer basic medications, however we are not able to offer injections at this time.
Yes, Viewings are available by appointment only Monday – Saturday between 2 and 4pm. Please contact us to book. Please be considerate of current residents whilst you visit, please do not put your hands into the kennels/cat pens.
Anytime from 9am until 12, and then 2 to 6 Monday – Saturday
Sundays 10-11 and 4-5
Yes, however we strongly advise against this, as this tends to agitate other residents, causing unnecessary stress to both them, and your pet. Please respect the staff in carrying out their role, and allow them to settle your pet in themselves.
Yes, we do insist on the kennel cough vaccine, to have been administered no sooner than 14 days before arrival, dogs without kennel cough vaccine are at a much higher risk
Sadly not. All pets must be fully vaccinated in order to board with us.
This is not a service we currently provide.
Yes. Our staff have ample experience in nervous dogs, with Lauren working as a behaviourist for many years, we will handle your pet in the safest way possible.
